Wisconsin Woman magazine closes down

April 2010 issue will be the last for US magazine.

The woman's magazine, which is published by O'Gara Publishing, Massachusetts, stated on its website: "Due to the economic times, the magazine is ceasing publication. We would like to thank all of our advertisers and readers for their support over the years."

Wisconsin Woman with a circulation of 22,000 began publishing in 1998. Its editor Debra Illingworth Greene will now edit its sister publication, County Lifestyles. Publisher Pat O'Gara said the company will continue to publish its other publications such as Dane County Lifestyles and the bi-annual Dane County Parent magazines.

The publishing house said it will also bring out its annual Wisconsin Woman Business and Resource Directory, and hold its Future Lifestyles Show.
