The owner of the glossy magazine, Hearst Magazines International (HMI), said it is partnering with the Vietnamese publisher Sun Flower Media and Hanoi Media Association to bring out the new edition.
Like its American edition, the Vietnamese edition will target 20- to 35-year-old working urban women and focus on relationships, fashion, beauty, health and career.
Cosmopolitan Vietnam will be priced at VND 29.800 each (less than a dollar) and initially distributed in the capital Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Tran Nguyen Thien Huong is the managing editor of the magazine which will begin with 20,000 copies.
Cosmopolitan currently publishes 59 international editions.
