The company now owns RBI's Interior Design, Furniture Today, Gifts & Decorative Accessories, Home Textiles Today, Casual Living, Home Accents Today, Kids Today and Playthings.

The media houses did not reveal the financial details of the deal.

Sandow Media's new publications are industry-specific magazines aimed at home furnishing and home decor industries. It plans to hire 100 more staff to handle the new publications.

In December last year, RBI sold Broadcasting & Cable, Multichannel News and This Week in Consumer Electronics. Earlier this month, it sold Library Journal and School Library Journal.
