Magazines with 10 or more nominations such as Texas Monthly, Los Angeles, Chicago and Philadelphia are topping the list of finalists from which the winners will be decided.
Among the small and mid-size circulation publications, the Columbus Monthly, Hudson Valley, Memphis, Milwaukee, Rhode Island Monthly and St. Louis have two nominations each.
The winners will be announced at the 34th Annual CRMA Conference to be held between 5 to 7 June at the Westin Providence in Providence, Rhode Island.
The award categories this year include "General Excellence," "Food or Dining Writing," "Personality Profile," "Blog Column," and "Multimedia."
The competition is open to members of CRMA and other city and regional magazines throughout North America.
