Salt Lake commute best in US: Forbes

After measuring travel time, delays and green alternatives in the US, the Forbes Magazine has found

The US business magazine credits the Utah Department of Transportation for anticipating growth and planning ahead. It appreciated the department's projects such as Udot's bridge farms that minimise delays, thus improving the commuting experience.

On average, Salt Lake commuters spend only 27 hours a year in traffic, compared to 60 hours in the worst commuter city Atlanta, the magazine said.
