Published once a year, the launch of the magazines coincides with the angling season in the UK.
The agency hopes to encourage angling and also encourage consumers to renew their rod licenses regularly.
The agency, which is the UK's government body concerned with rivers, floods and pollution, has appointed Think Publishing to produce the magazines. The magazines will be mailed to 750,000 rod licence holders in England and Wales.
The agency will also publish a range of 'Where to go fishing' guides, as well as the Reel Life magazine.
