Lindsay Lohan criticised for posing as Jesus
Lindsay Lohan has been criticised for appearing as a "fashionable Jesus" on the cover of French fash
By New Statesman Published 10 February 2010Lohan appeared as Jesus, with outstretched arms and a crown of thorns. She was photographed by Terry Richardson. Purple is pitched as a more edgy fashion magazine.
Robert Paul Reyes of Newsblaze has called it an "act of blasphemy". He added that Lohan would never dare to dress up like the Prophet Muhammad because it would offend Muslims.
Jennifer Cady of E Online called it a "shocking act".
