Wedding magazines, websites flood the market

Condé Nast has announced that it will make the Brides magazine a monthly and introduce more digital

Wedding website The Knot said it is doubling the frequency of its print magazine to four times a year. The Knot is also including e-commerce, a gift registry and market-research business on its website.

Meanwhile, Atlanta-based Get Married Media is launching a new quarterly magazine. In February, DailyCandy.com, the email newsletter and website of cable operator Comcast, inaugurated a weekly wedding-themed email. Rainbow Media has also recently started the Wedding Central channel.
