Your country would suffer less those problems if the youngs were educated in self-protection. Condoms, birth control and other ways to keep the teens from having babies and diseases.

And being a member of the Twifandom, I didn't feel encouraged in abstinence with Twilight... Pretty much the opposite actually. I remember feathers, bitten pillows and broken bed...

I would be all for propaganda encouraging youngs to avoid unprotected sexual contact. Because we need to admit that our teens are high on hormons, and that they feel the need for a physical intimacy. As long as we're in denial and keep them from needed information and education, this will happen.

Should I remind everyone that HIV and unwanted pregnancies INCREASED when the previous Pope forbid the use of condoms?

I don't really like the word "propaganda", I mean, we're not on war! Abstinence against sex? It's ridiculous! Yes, we know she is Mormon, but I am not Mormon, and still I share some of her ideas. It's true, sex is everywhere and we can't go back, we have to move on and accept that today's youth is not the same as it was years ago and so we have to do something to prevent diseases and unwanted pregnancies, etc.... But I cannot help but wonder where is the love? The truth is sometimes I just wish there was more love and less sex. I often get the feeling that you can't fall in love anymore because it's overrated. Well, no, it's not! And that's why I enjoyed reading Twilight, because it's about love. No need to be Mormon for that (and no, she's not trying to convert us lol)
