I spent most of my teens in street gangs and I suffered serious consequences. That experience shaped who I am today. I’ve since turned my life around. I now work as a youth worker and try to inspire and support other young people. This summer I took part in Truce 20/20 training project which teaches peacebuilding and leadership skills to young people in Newham. The project is run by Peace Direct, Leap Confronting Conflict and Conflict and Change.
