Jacobs renews MSA contract with BP in Netherlands

Jacobs Engineering Group (Jacobs) has said that BP Raffinaderij Rotterdam has renewed its five year

The refinery has an annual production capacity of around 400,000 barrels of crude oil a day - and produces a range of finished and intermediate products.

Under the agreement, Jacobs will provide engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services. Jacobs has been providing EPCM services to BP at the Rotterdam site since 2004 under the initial MSA. The work will continue to be performed by Jacobs' office in Leiden, the Netherlands, supported by a site-based team.

Robert Matha, vice president of Jacobs, said: "The continuation of our partnership with BP provides new opportunities to improve performance at the Rotterdam refinery. We are committed to support BP's investment needs and we will continue to deliver value-added cost efficiencies."
