Nouriel Roubini tops Twitter #Finance100

Economia/PeerIndex list of financial influencers online.

New York University Stern professor, and author of Crisis Economics, Nouriel Roubini tops the latest list that attempts to quantify the influence of the Twittering classes. The BBC's Robert Peston and Paul Mason are second and third, respectively.

The #Finance100 list, put together for economia, looks at those who hold sway in the financial world. The index measures relative online authority, audience and activity.

Three other broadcast news journalists feature in the top ten -- Faisal Islam, economics editor at Channel 4 News (6); Laura Kuenssberg, ITV News business editor (7); and Stephanie Flanders, the BBC's economics editor (9).

Among the others in the top ten are Tim Harford, author of Adapt and the Labour leader, Ed Miliband.
