"Consumers are willing to pay to be entertained and informed. We want to create great content and customise it for the audience around the world," he said.
Murdoch said News Corp would have discussions with device makers on developing a subscription model for e-readers, which can deliver high-quality journalism to consumers, whenever and wherever they want it.
