Celebrity news is the most popular search this year on Bing, the Microsoft search engine said in a blog post on Monday.
"Hairstyles," "Wal-Mart," and "free" are the only non-celeb topics to make it into Bing's top 10 overall searches this year.
Reality TV personality Kim Kardashian is the most searched person this year, while actress Sandra Bullock and golfer Tiger Woods stood second and third on the list, followed by pop star Lady Gaga and US President Barack Obama.
Kardashian had 20 per cent more searches than runner up Bullock, Bing said.
Although the search engine's queries represents only 11.5 per cent of US Internet searches, its top ten search words are indicative of what is on web searchers' minds, news and features site Stuff added.
"Swine flu" and "stock markets" topped the search list in 2009, the Bing post added.
