Richard Branson, chairman of Virgin Group which owns the British telecom and broadcast company Virgin Media, on Wednesday announced Virgin's magazine for the Apple iPad.
The magazine designed exclusively for the iPad will be unveiled in New York on 30 November, according to a report in the Huffington Post.
Virgin's iPad magazine, touted as a "paperless revolutionary multimedia publication" by the media group, will be more entertainment oriented and will focus less on news and current affairs, unlike News Corp's iPad newspaper.
While Branson's 29-year-old daughter Holly will be the overall head, Anthony Noguera, former editor of men's magazine Zoo and FHM, will supervise the editorial content.
Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch's iPad newspaper 'The Daily" is also due to be unveiled next
