George Bush to hold live Facebook interaction session

Appearance part of tour to promote "Decision Points"

Former US president George W Bush will stop by Facebook's headquarters in Palo Alto in California on Tuesday to answer questions from Facebook users and employees, as part of his tour to promote his memoir "Decision Points" released earlier this month.

Streaming live on Facebook Live at 5pm Eastern/2pm Pacific, the discussion will be moderated by Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg and general counsel Ted Ullyot.

Facebook Live is a video streaming channel that lets users participate in real-time discussions, events, and interviews taking place at Facebook's headquarters. A "Live Feed" feature lets users update their status with Facebook Live information.

The discussion, to be attended by a live audience of Facebook employees, will also enable Facebook users to submit questions to the former president during the interview. Facebook users can use the "Ask a Question" button at the top of the video screen.

The social networking site's office is the only stop that Bush is making during this trip to the Bay Area, a Facebook spokesman said.
