After a cameo in the US animated TV series "The Simpsons" and a full-fledged movie "The Social Network", Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg now gets his very own animated film.
US comic book company Bluewater Productions had announced a Zuckerberg bio comic back in September. The company on Saturday added that New York-based film production company Hayden 5 Media has chosen the comic as the basis for an animated movie.
Bluewater publishes a variety of comics, including superhero titles and three different biography titles which have profiled celebrities such as singer Lady Gaga and US First Lady Michelle Obama.
The comic book publisher said that the film titled "Mark Zuckerberg and The Found" will use live action footage and rotoscoping -- an animation technique in which animators trace over live-action film movement, frame by frame in animated films.
The film production company has not made it clear whether the film will see a telly or a theatrical release, or if it will serve as an ad for Bluewater's comic book "Mark Zuckerberg: Creator of Facebook" that will be unveiled in December.
