NatMag moves websites onto Hearst platform

Single platform will allow readers to browse through portal on a common user id

Publishing groupNatMag will be relocating its magazine websites onto to Magnus, the proprietary publishing platform of its parent company Hearst.

The company's websites which include harpersbazaar.com, menshealth.co.uk etc, will be revamped and upgraded to be launched afresh on the Magnus platform.

Youandyourwedding.co.uk, company.co.uk, menshealth.co.uk and handbag.com have already been shifted while harpersbazaar.co.uk, babyexpert.com, cosmopolitan.co.uk, esquire.co.uk and allaboutyou.com will be moved through the course of next year.

Magnus, a product of Hearst Magazines Digital Media, facilitates convergence of content management, syndication, community tools, subscription marketing, universal user registration and promotional tools.

NatMag claims that hosting the websites under a single platform will allow readers to browse through the portal using a common user id.
"Our investment in the Magnus platform will create many opportunities for NatMag's websites - from the creation of new revenue streams to providing users with a more efficient and faster service, which, in turn, will help generate significant growth in traffic and attract new advertisers," said Simon Horne, NatMag's general manager and finance director.
