Telegraph Media Group launches fashion and beauty website

Writers will give fashion advice, recommend products and update users about the latest fashion trend

The Telegraph Media Group (TMG) on Monday launched a fashion and online shopping website that allows readers to buy or indicate their preference for fashion products displayed on it.

TMG's digital futures department created fashion.telegraph.co.uk in partnership with digital agency Made by Many and in collaboration with Telegraph fashion experts such as Michele Lavery and Anna Murphy.

Fashion feature writers including Hilary Alexander, Kate Shapland and Justine Picardie will give fashion advice, recommend products and update users about the latest fashion trends.

The site also publishes the latest fashion stories, features, photo galleries, videos and catwalk reports.

With the "I Spied" section, users can buy or express their approval using the "buy" and "love" buttons. The site also features a weekly newsletter called "Trend Watch".

TMG may be hoping to ape the Daily Mail's femail, which has proved popular.
