The new apps will allow campaigners and supporters to access the party's interactive manifesto film and detailed policy guide. The party said it was inspired by Barack Obama to launch a full-fledged digital campaign for the General Election.
Labour's manifesto film has been viewed over 40,000 times on videosharing site Youtube. It has also been shared on microblogging site Twitter and social network Facebook.
About 110,000 users have either downloaded or read the 76-page manifesto online. In the elections of 2005, the party's manifesto was available only as a hard copy.
