By New Statesman Published 31 March 2010The team at the microblogging tool will aggregate and analyse various Westminster-related tweets to predict the results of the forthcoming UK election. Initial results, based on 2 million tweets, predict a hung parliament or Labour victory with a small majority. Labour is predicted to capture 35 per cent votes, and Conservatives 34 per cent.
The tool has rated Labour's Tom Watson, Nick Clegg of Lib-Dems and Conservative Party's Eric Pickles as the three most influential MPs on Twitter (in that order).
