Indian group launches new social network portal
Consumer products group launches portal called Gojiyo in collaboration with the business media house
Godrej, one of India's largest consumer products groups, admitted that Gojiyo is a deviation form its core business but said it was an essential move to make itself more relevant to young people in India.
Like other social media sites, users need to register to use Gojiyo by providing details such as name, email address and telephone number. The website is designed for Indians and looks similar to other social networks such as Orkut and Facebook.
