Google improves marketing capability for advertisers

Internet giant’s advertising service can now message visitors to websites.

Google announced yesterday that it would be launching a remarketing capability service, which enables advertisers to send messages to consumers who have previously visited an advertiser's website, for its paid advertising service, Adwords.

In a blog post on its website, Google explained the concept using the example of a basketball team, saying that a sports team can put a piece of code on the tickets page of their website which will enable the site to remember visitors to that page, and display relevant ticket ads as they browse sites in the Google Content Network even after they leave the ticket page. Google also mentioned in its blog post that users can opt out of the remarketing targeting through the Ads Preference Manager in the site.
