Facebook back on track after Saturday glitch
Facebook has announced that it has resolved the server problem that had affected several users in Lo
By New Statesman Published 22 February 2010Users of the social networking site had trouble accessing their accounts, including their friends' profiles and other features.
Many users of the social networking site reportedly turned to microblogging site Twitter to complain. Facebook spokesman Matt Hicks said it was a 'small percentage of users' which had problems accessing their accounts because of a server problem.
Although Twitter faced problems in August when hackers shut down the service for several hours, Facebook, which has over 400 million users, had not experienced such problems before.
