hi5 acquires Big Six
Social network site hi5 has acquired social gaming firm Big Six. The two companies did not disclose
By New Statesman Published 26 February 2010hi5 said it will implement Big Six's payment processing, fraud detection and conversion optimisation technologies, thus improving its business for virtual goods and games.
hi5, that started in 2003 as a social network, has moved toward social gaming in the last two years.
The employees of Big Six, including founders Kevin Gilner, Monty Kerr and Chad Hansing, will reportedly relocate from Austin to San Francisco.
