Noguchi is using Twitpics, the image-sharing arm of the microblogging site Twitter, to instantly upload photographs of the Earth in his account.
On January 26, he posted his first photograph - the image of the Port-Au-Prince, the earthquake-ravaged capital of Haiti.
He has also posted pictures of the man-made coast of Bahrain, the Bosphorus dividing Europe from Asia and the Bird's Nest Olympic stadium in Beijing.
