The campaign creates awareness about online safety using a character called Lexi -- a "bit of a loudmouth" who leaks out her online password. Lexi urges parents to "get your kids to zip it" and keep their passwords private. The activity is part of the "Click Clever Click Safe" initiative launched in December.
The council comprises organisations from industry, charities and the public sector. It was set up to work with the Government to deliver the recommendations from child therapist Dr Tanya Byron's "Safer Children in a Digital World" report.
The Department for Children, Schools and Families is supporting the campaign.
