Daniel Craig is not a James Bond 007 character, not smooth and suave as was Sean Connery. Richard Armitage should have been asked to fill the role.
Roger Moore was too much of a nice guy and a 'woos', Judi Dench is a magnifcent actress but definately not an 'M', it's a man's job, an ex licence to kill person, someone who knows survival in the field.
Keep the 'shaken not stirred' drinks, Bond does not drink beer.
Find someone to write the scripts in the same vein as earlier 'Bonds'.

Apparently in this new one instead of a martini, shaken not stirred, he asks for a Heineken. How is it that the worlds classiest, most brazen womanizing agent with a license to kill asks for one of the most mediocre beers?

I am all for breathing new life into the franchise, better action sequences, more intrinsic storylines, stranger villains and the works. But Bond should always be, well, Bond. Where is the wit and smooth panache of Connery? The easy charm and devil-may-care of Brosnan?

All I see now are scowls and cold comebacks, a thug who lets his emotions get in the way and gets his ass handed to him too often. Hes become too... American.

I'd say Craig has a lot of potential to be great James bond. but the films themselves are pretty awful and stop that potential being fulfilled. Casino Royale Noses dived in quality every time it stop following the book. Quantum was just a poor attempt to make bond into bourne. the bond franchise is loosing a lot of its identity which is a shame.

the problem with the films is the actually the product placement for example
Casino royal: MI6 use google to research the terrorist plans, The terrorists all use sony mobiles to communicate.and the worst offence is quantum of solace when james bond drinks gordons gin instead of signature drink

On the basis of only having seen him in 'Casino Royale', I think that Daniel Craig is the best ever Bond - but have the films been up to scratch? Personally, I think that they should have taken 'Casino Royale' as the cue (no pun intended) to remake the Fleming Bond novels from scratch.

In the clip, Ben Whishaw looks and sounds very good as 'Q'.
