Oded Balilty's image highlights the controversy of West Bank settlements established by Jewish extremists, who believe that they have a right to the biblical land of Israel.
There have been repeated violent clashes with Israeli forces during forcible evictions, and Israeli soldiers have even been jailed for refusing to take part in the eviction of settlers.
