Delta Air Lines, Inc. (Delta) is one of the largest global airlines, engaged in offering air transportation and cargo services. Its operations revolve around its hubs in Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Cincinnati, New York-JFK, Memphis, Amsterdam, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Salt Lake City and Tokyo-Narita along with its Northwest subsidiary and Delta Connection carriers. At the end of fiscal 2010, the company and the Delta Connection carriers operated its flights to about 358 destinations across 66 countries spread across 6 continents, serving more than 160 million passengers through its Northwest subsidiary and Delta Connection carriers. Being part of SkyTeam alliance that includes other major airliners such as Air France-KLM and Alitalia allows it to provide passengers with flights to 570 destinations in total 114 countries. The company is headquartered in Atlanta in Georgia, US.
