BAA Limited (BAA) is a global leading airport company. The company deals with the operations of three London airports, namely, Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted. It also provides passenger services at various airports at Scotland including, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen airports. It has classified its business operations as, Designated airports which include three individual airports, namely, Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted; Non-designated airports, which include Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Southampton airports; Other Airports; and Other Operations. The company operates through entities such as Heathrow Express Operating Company, BAA Funding Limited, BAA (AH) Limited and the parent entity BAA (SP) Limited. The company is headquartered at Middlesex, England.
In 2010, the company hived off its 50% stake in The Airport Property Partnership, a joint venture with the clients of Aviva Fund Management Limited to SEGRO plc for consideration of GBP 244.00 million.
