TDC A/S (TDC) is a Denmark-based telecommunications solutions provider. The company provides telecommunications solutions that include data communications and Internet services principally to business customers in Denmark and other Scandinavian countries. It offers landline services to residential, including small office/home office (SoHo) customers, and wholesale customers. In addition, its mobile services are offered to residential, SoHo, and wholesale customers. TDC also provides cable television, broadband, and telephony services. Geographically, it operates in Denmark, Switzerland, the US, Sweden, Norway, and Germany. At the end of 2008, the largest shareholder in TDC was Nordic Telephone Company ApS, holding 87.9% shares of TDC. The company is headquartered at Copenhagen, Denmark.
In March 2009, the company completed the acquisition of Fullrate A/S, a Danish broadband services provider.The company reported revenues of (Danish Krone) DKK 38,819.00 million during the fiscal year ended 2008, a decrease of 1.28% from 2007. The operating profit of the company was DKK 1,541.00 million during the fiscal year 2008, a decrease of 80.93% from 2007. The net profit of the company was DKK 2,905.00 million during the fiscal year 2008, a decrease of 65.45% from 2007.
