The company offers its services to about 79 cities in Brazil that include Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, Recife, Brasília, Goiania, Curitiba, and Florianopolis. NET`s services are passed to over 9 million homes and it has a 46% market share in the pay TV market and a 17.5% in the broadband market. The company is headquartered at Sao Paulo in Brazil.The company reported revenues of (Real) BRL 3,690.41 million during the fiscal year ended December 2008, an increase of 34.75% over 2007. The operating profit of the company was BRL 53.98 million during the fiscal year 2008, a decrease of 77.44% from 2007. The net loss of the company was BRL 95.01 million during the fiscal year 2008, as against a net profit of BRL 174.26 million during 2007.
