ESV Group Plc (ESV) is an agribusiness and logistics investment company. The company engages in biofuels farming and supplying biofuel feedstock for global markets. The company supplies biofuel raw materials or feedstock to the European bio-diesel refineries. The company principally provides farming and logistics services to agri-business markets. The company also offers services such as farming, enhancing port facilities, transport, cargo handling and warehousing, and export of grains for vegetable oil production. The product portfolio of the company includes Jatropha, Soya oil, Sunflower oil and Rapeseed oil. The company operates through its subsidiaries namely Agri-Ukraine Ltd and Dnipro Cargo Ltd located in Ukraine and Poltava. Its Agri-Ukraine Ltd holds a substantial 12,000 hectare farming operation in Poltava and Dnipro Cargo Ltd has a grain terminal at Kherson Sea Port. The company has its operations in Ukraine, Mozambique and the UK. ESV Group Plc is headquartered in London, the UK.
In 2009, ESV signed a definitive agreement for the sale of its Jatropha plantations business and associated assets in Mozambique to SAB Mozambique SA, a company controlled by two Italian energy companies, Api Nova Energia SrL and Seci Energia SpA.
