Targeted Growth, Inc. (TGI) is the US based crop biotechnology company. The company is engaged in developing products with improved yields and enhanced quality for energy and agriculture industries. TGI is involved in developing technologies that regulates the cell cycle process that can directly and considerably improve plant yields. The company is involved in applying modern breeding and biotechnology techniques to crops in order to increase the yields. TGI has included molecular breeding techniques with genetic adaptations and biotechnology to optimize the characteristics of plants in both food and fuel crops. TGI is headquartered at Seattle in Washington, the US.The company is presently involved in developing technologies to enhance the yields of corn, soybean, canola, rice, wheat and camellia. The company employs three technologies for product development: molecular assisted breeding, mutation breeding and Biological modification. It operates lab facilities in both the US and Canada. The company's field trials are conducted in over 12 US states, 4 Canadian provinces, as well as in Puerto Rico and Chile. It was founded in 1998.
