ACON

ACON is a gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender health and HIV/AIDS organization. It promotes health and wellness of people affected by HIV and attempts to reduce HIV transmission. The organization offers advice on issues related to HIV and human rights. It works on the health issues of communities such as sexual health, mental health, alcohol and other drug usage, aging, homophobic violence, domestic violence, counseling, community care and housing. The company entered into collaboration agreements with international agencies like National Centre in HIV Epidemiology and Clinical Research, National Centre in HIV Social Research and Australasian Society for HIV Medicine. These collaborations improve its understanding on the HIV virus and the HIV/AIDS epidemic. ACON is headquartered in Sydney, Australia.
