Immuno-Biological Laboratories Co., Ltd. (IBL) is engaged in the research, development, manufacture and sale of pharmaceutical products. It specializes in the development of antibodies against proteins related to various diseases that include cancers, autoimmune diseases, and disorders of the brain and nervous system. The company operates through three business segments namely Research Test Reagent segment, Laboratory Animal segment and drug discovery-related business. The Research Test Reagent segment cells antibody-associated test reagents, such as antibodies and enzyme immunoassay (EIA) kits, as well as other test reagents such as cell culture related test reagents and synthetic peptides. The Laboratory Animal segment offers animal models, such as mice and rats, which are imported from Taconic Farms, Inc. The Drug discovery segment is engaged in discovery and development of anti-osteopontin antibody, anti-CEA antibody and amyloid beta antibody. IBL is headquartered in Gunma, Japan.
