Stony Brook University
Stony Brook University (SBU) is an education organization and a research institution engaged in providing multiple academic programs including undergraduate, graduate and professional studies, resources and reference, colleges and schools, outreach, special programs and healthcare education. Its operations comprises of stadium, sports complex, arts center, medical center, the health sciences center, and the veterans home to a new research and development park, three business incubators at Calverton, New York, and the new Stony Brook Southampton campus. Further, the university manages Brookhaven National Laboratory, the University of Chicago, and the University of California-Berkeley, under research collaboration. It has a total of over 1,400 inventions and 400 patents. The university is headquartered at Stony Brook in New York, the US.
