CommunityHealth
CommunityHealth is a not-for-profit organization, is providing quality free health care to uninsured people spread across Chicago and the surrounding communities. This organization is engaged in providing compassionate and comprehensive quality free health care services. CommunityHealth is providing a wide range of primary and specialty care, as well as education, health promotion and case management services. It has a team of more than 650 volunteers, including 250 physicians to serve underserved as well as uninsured. It became an important medical-training center, and has affiliations with area medical schools and residency programs. The formal residency and training programs of CommunityHealth are affiliated with, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Saint Joseph Hospital, and DePaul University Graduate School of Nursing. Further, it also operates Student-Run clinics, which are designed to facilitate service-based learning for medical students interested in primary care. It is headquartered at Chicago in Illinois, the US.
