Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) is focused on advocating a legal, regulatory and economic environment that advances global health care by assuring worldwide patient access to the benefits of medical technology. The association promotes policies that foster the highest ethical standards, fast product approvals, appropriate reimbursement, and access to international markets. AdvaMed represents member company interests on issues affecting patient access to advanced medical technology including product innovation, FDA approval, reimbursement, international trade, and others. Its member companies produce the medical devices, diagnostic products and health information systems that are transforming health care through earlier disease detection, less invasive procedures and effective treatments.
