Care New England Health System
Care New England Health System (CNE) is engaged in providing inpatient care through a network of three hospitals. Its hospitals include Kent Hospital, a general acute care facility with about 350 beds; Butler Hospital for psychiatric facility; and Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island, which specializes in obstetrics, gynecology, and newborn pediatrics. The system has more than 600 licensed beds. Butler Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital serve as teaching facilities for Brown University. It also operates a home health agency and provides wellness and rehabilitation programs. CNE was formed in February 1996 by founding members of Butler Hospital, Kent Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. CNE is based in Providence, Rhode Island, the UK
