Reinier de Graaf Group (Rdgg) is a general hospital focused on providing top quality healthcare services to the people of the Netherlands. It is one of the oldest surviving hospitals in the Netherlands. It operates as a part of the STZ, and provides highly specialized care. With over 881 approved beds, the hospital recorded about 161,715 first outpatient visits during 2008. The hospital implements the Lean Six Sigma methodology, to maximize quality of care. Leveraging its two supporting organizations: Foundation Medical Center and the Reinier de Graaf Reinier de Graaf Foundation Research Group, the hospital not only provides extra care and comfort, but also helps in conducting scientific research.
