Resverlogix Corp. (Resverlogix) is a clinically focused biotechnology company that is engaged in the development of small molecular therapeutics for unmet medical markets. The company mainly deals with the therapy areas of cardiovascular disease, cancer and fibrotic conditions. Resverlogix developed three programs for the cardiovascular diseases. The first program is NexVas Plaque Regression (NexVas PR), is a technology platform for the development of drugs that enhance ApolipoproteinA-I (ApoA-l). The second NexVas Vascular Inflammation (NexVas VI) focuses on the development of drugs that target diseases related to inflammation. ReVas, its third cardiovascular program, focused on the development of therapeutics for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. There are two more programs namely NexVas Alzheimer`s Disease (NexVas AD) is a technology for the development of drugs that enhance ApoA-I for stabilization and regression of beta amyloid plaque. And the other is TGF-ßeta Shield (TGF-ß Shield), focused on the treatment for grievous proliferative diseases, such as cancer and fibrotic conditions. The company is headquartered at Calgary, Canada.The company reported revenues of (Canadian Dollars) CAD 0.17 million during the fiscal year ended April 2009, a decrease of 84.64% from 2008. The operating loss of the company was CAD 21.61 million during the fiscal year 2009, as compared to an operating loss of CAD 28.38 million during 2008.
