Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. (CME) is a television broadcaster in Central and Eastern Europe. It operates TV Nova, Nova Sport, Nova Cinema and MTV in the Czech Republic, PRO TV, PRO TV International, ACASA, PRO CINEMA, Sport.ro and MTV Romania in Romania, TV MarkÃÂÂÂza, Nova Sport, Television Doma and MTV in the Slovak Republic, POP TV, Kanal A and TV Pika in Slovenia and Studio 1+1, 1+1 International and Kino in Ukraine, NOVA TV in Croatia and Pro.BG and Ring.BG in Bulgaria. The company is listed in New York on the NASDAQ exchange and in the Czech Republic on the Prague Stock Exchange.CME is headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda.
Recently, the company entered into an agreement with News Corporation under which it acquires 100% of Balkan News Corporation EAD (BNC) and TV Europe B.V. In April 2010, the Company sold 100% of its Ukraine operations, including the Studio 1+1 and Kino channels.
