Consensus Orthopedics (Consensus) (formerly known as Hayes Medical, Inc.) is a privately-held-medical device company engaged in the manufacture and distribution of orthopedic implants. The company develops joint replacement products such as knee systems, hip systems and custom implants. Its key products include modular hip product – UniSyn, Consensus Hip, Consensus Knee and other orthopedic products. The company developed hip and knee implants with unique components that match the patient anatomy. Its products are marketed through a broad range of distributors across Australia, Japan, Middle East, Central America, South America, Europe and the US. The company was formerly known as Hayes Medical, Inc. Consensus is headquartered in California, US.
Recently, China Kanghui Holdings, a China-based medical device company, entered into a licensing agreement with Consensus Orthopedics for the manufacture and marketing of a series of joint implant products in China and select international markets.
