IDM Pharma, Inc. (formerly known as Epimmune, Inc.) is a biopharmaceutical company engaged in developing innovative products that activate the immune system to treat cancer. The company has 5 products in clinical development. The most advanced, mifamurtide (L-MTP-PE), completed a Phase 3 clinical trial in osteosarcoma. Three products are in Phase 2 clinical trials to treat bladder cancer, melanoma, and non small cell lung cancer and one is in Phase 1 for treatment of colorectal cancer. In May 2009, Takeda America Holdings, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Takeda (Takeda America), and IDM Pharma have entered into an agreement for Takeda America to acquire IDM Pharma.The company reported revenues of (U.S. Dollars) USD 3.15 million during the fiscal year ended 2008, a decrease of 78.49% from 2007.
