(Kyto) is a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the research and development of minimally toxic and non-immunosuppressive proprietary drugs for treating cancer, arthritis, and other proliferate and autoimmune diseases. It develops receptor-mediated technologies which target the vitamin B12 pathway, an essential cofactor needed for DNA synthesis in proliferating cells. Its products in development include receptor blocking monoclonal antibodies, transcobalamin blocking anti-receptor monoclonals and Si RNA based receptor modulation. Its antibody candidates are used to treat solid tumors such as colorectal and breast cancer. It licenses its patented antibody technologies to large pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies for the development of therapeutics which address large unmet market oppurtunities. The company is headquartered in Ontario, Canada.
