Draegerwerk AG & Co. KGaA (Draegerwerk), formerly known as Draegerwerk AG, is a medical and safety technology company. Through its Medical division, it is engaged in the manufacturing of acute point of care (APOC) products, system solutions and services for patients of emergency care, perioperative care, critical care, perinatal care and home care. Draeger Safety develops, produces and markets safety equipment, system solutions and services for individual personal protection, stationary and mobile gas detection technology, and end-to-end hazard management. The company operates in more than 190 countries worldwide. It is headquartered in Lubeck, Germany.The company reported revenues of (Euro) EUR 1,924.55 million during the fiscal year ended December 2008, an increase of 5.78% over 2007. The operating profit of the company was EUR 74.71 million during the fiscal year 2008, a decrease of 18.26% from 2007. The net profit of the company was EUR 32.51 million during the fiscal year 2008, a decrease of 29.56% from 2007.
