Energy Investors Funds
Energy Investors Funds (EIF) is a private equity fund. It invests in independent power and electric utility companies. It has mobilized over $3.4 billion in capital and currently manages four private equity funds. It is the first private equity fund manager to raise a private equity power fund and then invest, recapitalize and liquidate assets of a fund. It has offices in Boston, San Francisco and New York. EIF Limited Partners has reached to 73 investors from a wide array of institutional, financial, and strategic investors, many of whom are repeat investors. The company is headquartered at Mill Valley in California, the United States.
EIF and NTE Energy have formed EIF NTE Hybrid Renewable Energy, a joint venture (JV) created to develop, construct and operate large-scale hybrid renewable energy facilities throughout the US.
