The Shizuoka Bank, Ltd. (Shizuoka) is a Japan-based regional bank. It is mainly engaged in the business management consultation businesses, leasing and banking. This banking group consists of 12 group companies, including 11 subsidiaries and one associated company. Shizuko has 167 branches and 21 sub branches. It has operations in Japan, Osaka, Tokyo, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York, Los Angeles, Brussels and Singapore. The bank conducts its activities under three reportable segments, namely: Leasing Operations, Bank Operations and Other Operations. Shizuko is engaged in providing wide range of industrial loans, commercial loans and financial services to wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers through its bank operations segment. Shizuoka is headquartered at Shizuoka, Japan.The bank reported interest income of (Yen) JPY 163,706.00 million during the fiscal year ended March 2009, a decrease of 2.78% from 2008. The net interest income after loan loss provision of the bank was JPY 98,488.00 million during the fiscal year 2009, a decrease of 13.96% from 2008. The net profit of the bank was JPY 13,014.00 million during the fiscal year 2009, a decrease of 62.56% from 2008.
